What is the GameBoy Advance (GBA) Due east-Reader? The e-Reader is a discontinued device fabricated by Nintendo for its Game Boy Advance portable video game system. Information technology was first released in Nippon in Dec 2001, with a Northward American release following in September 2002. It has a LED scanner that reads "eastward-Reader cards", newspaper cards with specially encoded data printed on them. Depending on the carte and associated game, the e-cards are typically used in a key-like function to unlock secret items, levels, or play mini-games when swiped through the reader. The cards themselves contain data, every bit opposed to unlocking data already on the device itself. A lot more than information on the GameBoy Accelerate (GBA) E-Reader tin be found on Wikpedia Download: Download GameBoy Advance (GBA) E-Reader Cards (Updated 29th Apr 2019) This download is currently the near complete set of GBA E-Reader Cards. I'chiliad not certain what if whatsoever are E Cards are missing however. If yous wish to use this with the Pokemon Game yous can find a version of VBA Link with E-Reader + Link Cable Emulation For Pokemon GBA Games hither
I ever idea those e-Cards are considered the same equally other ROMs, in regards of legality. Anyway just proverb, there are nigh 20 more cards available around the cyberspace that are non included here. This should exist a complete list of what is actually missing, if anyone is interested. The E-Cards are also on the Internet Archive, which is where these came from. If the cards we're not on at that place it's not something I would have considered posting up.
I looked at archive.org again and I found out at that place'south a slightly more complete aught, from 2016, that has 12 more. https://archive.org/download/No-Intro-Collection_2016-01-03/Nintendo-GameBoyAdvancee-cards.nada Comparing information technology with the 2015-03-03 ones this is the ones that seem to exist new: - Domo-kun no Card-due east - Promotional Cards - A-001 (Nihon) - Pikmin Puzzle Menu-e+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H001 (Japan) - Pikmin Puzzle Card-e+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H002 (Japan) - Pikmin Puzzle Card-east+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H003 (Japan) - Pikmin Puzzle Card-e+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H004 (Japan) - Pikmin Puzzle Menu-e+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H005 (Japan) - Pikmin Puzzle Card-due east+ - Promotional Cards - 12-H006 (Nihon) - Pokemon Boxing Carte-e+ - Emerald - Promotional Cards - nineteen-P002 (Nihon) - Pokemon Battle Card-e+ - Fire Carmine & Foliage Green - Promotional Cards - 15-N002 (Japan) - Pokemon Battle Carte du jour-e+ - FireRed & LeafGreen - Promotional Cards - 15-N001 (Nippon) - Rockman EXE 5 - Kaizou Card - Role 1 - 136-A002 (Japan) - Rockman EXE 6 - Kaizou Card - Part 2 - 137-F003 (Japan) In that location might exist ane up at that place with a few more than cards, I retrieve I saw one which required you to be logged in to come across and I couldn't be bothered with that simply at that place might be some more at that place.
I know which site you are significant. The ''newest'' version in that location has the date: ''20160328''. And yep, you lot need to be a fellow member there in social club to encounter the links.
No, this i. https://archive.org/details/No-Intro-Collection_2016-01-03_Fixed Same engagement but it says Stock-still, information technology might not even concern e-Reader cards at all either. There was this i too which is more than recent but it's merely one giant 37.5GB zip file rather than being separated into smaller archives, I'm not downloading that but to see if it had east-Cards lol. But if someone wants to, be my invitee https://archive.org/download/No-Intro-Collection_2016-09-06 (fwiw those No-Intro collections on archive.org have -a lot- of bodily roms for older systems too, and not just databases for emulators.)
There should be an archive from March 29 2016 which is the latest collection. It is just missing the undumped cards I listed above + 3 other cards that were made public this february.
near cards are there. although i noticed thirteen-P002 (a pokemon colosseum promotional card) is missing. probably some other obscure cards likewise.
here'south an unofficial 1 from jan 2018, large naught file https://annal.org/download/datomatic.no-intro.org
For a complete and latest due east-reader set check romshepherd forums in the no-intro section, at the moment the whole drove can be downloaded except ane rockman card which got added a few weeks agone and will about probable be shared soon there. Btw i hope ane day those missing Pokemon cards will be dumped! (Forth with the non Pokemon cards ofc!)
Hi. I tried to search for a due east reader + simply could not observe it. It does non work on e reader either equally information technology is region locked. Anyone take a e reader + rom?
Not sure if this site is legit, simply it's the only place that had it: romsmania.cc/roms/gameboy-accelerate/card-eastward-reader-batman-223640
Hullo, this is the electric current latest e-reader cards pack from No-intro, yous tin browse it with clrmamepro by using the due east-reader dat file from the no-intro datomatic page https://www73.zippyshare.com/v/OQ3PB1i3/file.html The Pokemon Pinball Crimson & Sapphire cards (Jirachi, Latios/Latias and Pikachu) got dumped very recently while 2 battle-e Emerald cards which were private for a few months got shared today and this pack has them inside. This pack is missing the newly dumped F-Zero cards (those will be shared soon and I will upload them) and a few Rockman cards which got dumped a very long time ago but were never shared with the public (but the person who dumped the F-Null cards got a few of the Rockman cards and will share them, every bit for the remainder they might stay missing until someone redumps them!) There's nix Pokemon related missing from the latest e-reader database and the list of undumped cards keeps getting smaller! Thanks to anybody for preserving this obscure part of Pokemon gaming history Every bit far every bit I know the cards can exist used only in the vba emulator and information technology's thousand variations for windows for and mGba has e-reader back up planned. Don't know almost whatsoever of the Apple operating systems, equally for Android, it has meg gba emulators simply none accept e-reader support. Edit: Actually here is a listing of missing dumps, what a small list! If anyone got something please contact the no-intro staff in the datomatic or their forums http://wiki.no-intro.org/index.php?title=Nintendo_-_Game_Boy_Advance_e-Reader_Cards_undumped
Just curious. Would it be possible to make an ereader rom loaded with one of the card files to then be loaded into a flash cart to the connect with physical copies of the games?
I honestly accept no thought if that'southward possible, it would demand to be a hacked rom for sure.
Hullo, here's the updated pack with 3 former Pokemon card dumps changed to new hashes incase anyone is lazy to patch with the ips patches from the no-intro forums xD https://www87.zippyshare.com/v/hUVz2yYf/file.html
Which link? All work for me. Anyway hither is the updated pack with the F-Nothing cards https://www101.zippyshare.com/v/liLbGTXW/file.html
